    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is essentially the act of using information found IRL or out of character as your character, like if your friend told you how to make a certain cool thing via discord or something, then you got on and made it, that would be metagaming because your character never obtained the knowledge, you did.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is roleplaying a godly, or unrealistic character. An example would be like if you make a character thats invincible, or doesn't have any knowledge of magic, yet can throw fire at someone.
