    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Check what my character can and can not do according to its race, etc.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It makes the RP not function because it will not follow the set storyline and practically ruin the purpose of set rp.

I wasnt sure if we had to make up a certain random backstory, but I made a random backstory.

 

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

-tension fills the air, the old hag staring at the young woman-With her responding with "I ran, I just ran, I couldn't take it anymore.. I'm tired of running".. -the tension in the air lowering as the old hag hugs the young woman, startling her slightly...
