    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Having your character act based on information you gained out of character or outside the game, typically breaking immersion or giving you an unfair advantage.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Fundamentally, I personally understand it as caring more about some arbitrary "goal" that's usually game-y in nature more than the inherent enjoyment everyone gets out of roleplay, usually at the detriment of others' said enjoyment. For example, forcing emotes on other players, giving yourself unrealistically powerful capabilities, or just acting unrealistically for the sake of achieving some goal with no regard to the quality of roleplay.
