You stated that you haven’t read the rules yet! Make sure to read the rules before you reapply.

You also need to make the following changes in your next application:

• Your Powergaming and Metagaming definitions are incorrect. Please refer to our wiki page on metagaming and powergaming for the server’s accepted definitions, just keep in mind that plagiarism is not tolerated.
• Your character’s background references Lore From Other Literature (the Lord of the Rings). While similar in many of its fantasy themes, LotC is not a Lord of the Rings roleplay server, it is set in a unique world with its own lore that is unrelated to the Lord of the Rings, despite the similarities in the name. You need to remove any references to other literature (such as Lothlorien and Caras Galadhon) in order for it to be accepted on the server. I’d definitely recommend checking out the LotC Wiki to start out. Feel free to also ask questions in the New Player Discord! I’ll link a few wiki pages here that you might find useful:
  • The elves page will give you a general outline of the race. You might find the wood elves page useful as well.
  • The realms page will give you a general overview/timeline of the server’s realms. The current realm is Arcas, but your character would have been born around the time of Anthos due to their age. 
  • The main page of the wiki has a map with all the current nations on the server. These are places that probably weren’t around in your character’s childhood, but that they may live in today.
• Your character’s Background is too vague. Please extend this to at least two decent sized paragraphs. You could include more information on things such as your character’s place of birth, upbringing, family, profession and any other important events that have happened to them. Try and refrain from using cliches like your character’s parents dying after their village was attacked by orcs. 
• The character Description field should only be used to describe the physical attributes of your character. This is a description of what another character would be able to see if they looked at your character, so exclude information such as being intelligent as this isn’t something that would be apparent to someone who was seeing you for the first time. Try and add a bit more description as well. What is their build/stature? Do they have any other distinguishing features that would stand out? Is there a way they usually stand or walk?
• Your character’s interesting Facts & Traits must be written as full sentences of at least five words.
