You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Well... um..." you stutter, "I am not a what you think a generic halfling is, some people may call me... complicated..."
"Complicated how?" she asks,
"You don't need to know" you reply confidently,
"So what brought you here?" She inquires, "Is it perhaps something to do with the many diamonds in your inventory?"
"H-how'd you know that?" you say suspiciously,
"How do you make a pig fly?" she replies cryptically, "so go on, tell me you story."
"I am Nicholas Brown, I own a farm out west and spend most of my time farming wheat and gathering resources. If it have excess I will travel around and give it to those in need. I also would take from those with too much. How I decide who to take and give from is a mystery even to me, I just do what I feel like at the time. I have been known to even help my enemies sometimes depending on their need. Its all about the joy of changing someone's fate with a single item taken or given."
"hah- finally someone who understands the joy of fate!" she exclaims, "well, enjoy your travels with my blessing, I don't need to give anything to you since you took something already, didn't you?"
You walk out the tent and smile as you leave something on the table when she wasn't looking, you are 1 ender pearl less but you now have a floating candle.
