You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Why, hello! I am Cathrine Nat, I come for negotiation... but I can spare some time! I came from a far of kingdom. I ran away at 17 and got lost in the woods and eventually found a villa--- nope! nope! ahh noo well ummm (she helped the villagers but then left them in the hands of someone else while she made an attempt to found a village of her own) change the subject...I am an archer, I get nervous when fighting up close so I hunt from far away. I stay peaceful around people though. anyway I must go now... can you tell me which way city hall is?

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: the only thing about my character that might be under this category is that she is cursed, when she is weak or under stress or angry her eyes turn green and she has wolf ears but this would only affect her appearance and most of the time I just have ears on my skin and one green eye she is still human under normal circumstances
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: I live under a rock, nobody tells me anything anyway. Even if I did know something I shouldn't, I mainly do stay in character, also I know that meta gaming is like trying to play with a 5 year old. I avoid it the best I can
