You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Looking the old hag up and down, "Well young lady" Malakosan says in a loud, booming voice, "Let me tell you a story of treachery and betrayal...". Proceeds to tear the cushion off the chair and frisbee it into the fireplace where it erupts in flames, and sits down on the rickety chair, swinging his feet up onto the table with a loud thud. "My story begins here, in this very town, not 20 years past, when I betrayed the Innkeeper and stole away with his daughter in the night..."
