You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

As I settled onto the cushion, I looked around the small tent, taking in my surroundings. It was a far cry from the lavish halls and elegant gardens of my former life. But I knew that I had made the right decision in leaving it all behind.
"I come seeking knowledge," I began, my voice steady and sure. "I have left behind a life of luxury and comfort to pursue a greater understanding of the world around me. I seek to learn the secrets of magic and the mysteries of the universe."
The old hag nodded knowingly, her eyes sharp and penetrating. "Magic is a powerful force," she said. "It can grant great power and knowledge, but it can also be dangerous. Are you prepared to face the risks that come with such knowledge?"
"I am," I replied without hesitation. "I know that the path I have chosen is not an easy one, but I am willing to face any challenge in pursuit of the truth."
The hag smiled, a glint of approval in her eyes. "Very well," she said. "I will teach you what I can. But be warned - the path of magic is not one to be taken lightly. It requires dedication, discipline, and a deep understanding of the forces at work in the world."
"I understand," I replied, my heart filled with determination and purpose. "I am ready to begin." And with those words, I began my journey into the world of magic and mystery, eager to discover all that it had to offer.
