    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The way to avoid that in this case is to simply use the point based system
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Spoiling the immersive experience for both you and your fellow players.
    Giving an unfair advantage to those who use it.
    Using information that your character couldn't realistically know, which gives you an unfair advantage against other players.
    Ruining the gameplay by knowing too much information which you should not know.
    Taking away that you are not roleplaying.
    Disrupting fair roleplay by making your character do something that they can't do.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
