You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

i look around nervouslly and put my hand near my sword, "who are you" i ask, "you dont need to know that" she says "i came from up north, plan to go back as well i am visiting my mother down south here, my mother was often the victim of domestic abuse by her husband, my father, i never liked him he was always beating her and me. eventually when my uncle found out he was horrified he sreported his brother straight to the authorities, after that i went to go live with my uncle while my mother came back to her family down south, this all happened when i was 8. my uncle was a hunter and he raised me to be able to craft a bow, and use one as well, he also taught me how to use a sword and fight. since then i lived with him until last year when i bought my own house and started working as a guard at a nearby town and these are my 2 weeks leave from duty, i chose to come down and visit my mother"
