    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Best way to avoid powergaming is to actually play your character more than playing the game, to actually roleplay the character you created
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Because the player knows something so he pretends like the character also knows it, which could disrupt the roleplay

mikhail and his friends have embarked on a thrilling hiking adventure in a dense, hot desert. As the day wears on, you realize that you've deviated from the marked trail, and now find yourselves completely lost. The sun is setting, and the desert is shrouded in darkness.

 

The example: As mikhail's friend (Micah Ivankov II) voice starts to tremble, "How in the world did we end up here?

Mikhail responds: "Dont worry i got a plan and we just have to stick to it. Soon enough we will be growing palm trees and start a new life!." Mikhail says that in a desperate tone, knowing that nothing will be okay. "We just have to stick to the damn plan."
