You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The old hag listens intently, nodding occasionally as if she already knows the words before they leave your lips.
As you speak, you notice a subtle shift in the atmosphere of the tent. The candles flicker erratically, casting strange shadows on the walls. You feel a chill run down your spine, but you press on, compelled to share your story with this mysterious woman.
Finally, as you reach the climax of your tale, the old hag leans forward, her eyes alight with a strange intensity. "Yes, I see it now," she murmurs, almost to herself. "Your destiny is intertwined with the fate of this town, with its secrets and its sorrows."
You swallow hard, suddenly aware of the weight of her words. "What do you mean?" you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
The old hag smiles, a knowing gleam in her eye. "There are forces at work here beyond your understanding," she replies cryptically. "But fear not, for I can sense the strength within you. You have the power to change the course of history, to bring light to the darkness that shrouds this place."
With a wave of her hand, the candles flare brightly, illuminating the tent with an otherworldly glow. You feel a surge of determination coursing through your veins, as if you've been awakened to a purpose greater than yourself.
As you rise to leave the tent, the old hag's voice follows you like a whisper on the wind. "Remember," she calls after you, "the fate of this town rests in your hands. Choose wisely, for the choices you make will shape the future for generations to come."
With those words echoing in your mind, you step out into the swampy darkness, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
