    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information that was gotten out of character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Carrying out actions that no normal being could do. Example: Harold smashes the mans torso with his fist, leaving behind nothing but his legs.

Harold looks right into the eyes of the man. He feels that there is something off about this figure, and he intends to find out what it is, so he says: "I came here looking for adventure, and there is a slight problem. I don't have a place to stay, would you mind if I were to stay with you for the night?". The man answers: "Of course, be free to come inside, I live right there, near the fishery!". Harold thanks the man for his kindness and thinks to himself that he is thinking with his gut too much and he is just paranoid, but he is determined to see if such a kind man has some evil secret.
