    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a character in the roleplay finds out something he shouldn't because the person playing him found out outside of his character. If my friend told me to join LOTC because something insane was occuring, the right thing to do would not get online just because I was told that since my character in game would have no idea that was happening.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is taking control of another person's game by forcing their character to do things such as emotes. It can also be unrealistic gameplay that could be considered OP for a certain characters.
