You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Willow's elf ears twitch, hearing the sound of the old hag's voice.
"Depending on what you just said I assume I'm at the right place," Willow responded.
She sat down on the cushion, and looked around taking note of the many potions and such that were stored on the shelves.
"I was in the woods collecting herbs. My mother is sick, and while father works I'm taking care of her. I'm actually studying medicine. I want to be an herbalist. In the woods
I heard whispers. Like the forest spirits were luring me to something..or somewhere", Willow said.
Willow often looked around when she spoke, unable to hold eye contact. She was surprised to see that the old hag moved from the back of the tent to sit in front of her. She hadn't seen her move so fast. The old hag looked interested in what Willow had to say, and Willow almost felt compelled to continue speaking.
"I really don't know why I listened to these voices. I'm usually more smarter than to follow random voices through the woods, but this was different. I've spent 19 years in my village, doing things I'm told, and living the life I know, but what I really want is to go on an adventure. I love my family and I love my village, but I feel like there's more out there for me. My mother always tells me that the world is so big.."
Willow shut up, thinking she was talking too much. When she looked down she noticed a scroll sitting on the table in between her and the old hag. Once again she was surprised because she didn't see the old hag put it there. She grabbed the paper, looking at the old hag, but the old hag didn't say anything. She just looked at her.
"Thank you?" Willow said getting up from the cushion and walking out the door, with the scroll in her hand.
The door quickly shut behind her.
"Was I supposed to look at this in front-"
Willow turn around to see that the tint had disappeared. She stood there perplexed.
"Okay..."
Willow put the scroll in her satchel and began walking back to her village.
