You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
I sit, reluctantly, looking around and cautiously observing the scenario, timidly answering the old lady's request for my story "I... I come from a traditional Li-Ren family, I've always been held up to really high standards, my family expects very much of me, but I am far too weak and delicate to be the strong and respectable officer they dream I'd be" I say with a nervous tone and sad eyes "I really want to make my family proud so, now that I'm 21 years old and can start building my life, I decided that I would wander the world, travelling through the realms, I will learn how to fight, get stronger, get braver, meet new people, go in adventures" I say with a spark in my eyes as my lips curl up into a small smile "And when I finally leave the scared little girl inside of me behind, I'll come back home and make my family proud, serving my people as a worthy officer" I finish with a firm tone and a determined look in my eyes, sighing lightly.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: By making a believable character with plausible flaws and strengths, remembering to keep it balanced and role-playing fairly, keeping it interesting with missed opportunities, a few failures, good humor, never including objects I don't actually have on inventory... in other words, being mindful of the other players and how the story would unfold in a believable and enjoyable way for everyone.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming gives unfair information to the players, resulting in plot holes or unfair advantages, which would implicate in a bad roleplay overall.
