You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
The man would sit down, looking slightly confused and distressed. He'd sigh and say "Where am I?", as he'd look around the tent, waiting for a response. Seeing the hag would not speak further, he'd begin slowly, saying "I lost my family. I suppose I was looking for somewhere to settle, but it seems I have stumbled upon this town. Not exactly what I was hoping for" and chuckles sightly. He'd pause, before saying "I don't suppose you'd know the nearest town, a proper one I mean. I need some food and shelter. It looks like this town will not satisfy me." With that, he'd gaze into the distance, waiting for a response. He was eager to leave the tent, but felt compelled to stay.
