You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I take a deep breath as she steps into the dimly lit tent. The smell of rotting wood and wet moss nearly assaulting my senses, yet, I try to remain calm as I make my way towards the hag at the back of the tent.
"Thank you for taking the time to see me," I say as I take a seat on the cushion the old hag has offered me. "My name is Elena, and I've come here seeking guidance. You see, I lost both of my parents to a disease when I was younger, and it was a devastating experience for me. I want to become a herbalist, to learn how to prevent and cure disease and injury through natural remedies and potions. I want to make sure that no one else has to suffer like my parents did."
