    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is, when you get information out of character and then use it in character. As an example you may read something ooc about arcane knowledge and then make your character use said knowledge even though it isn't his/he shouldn't know it. You have to seperate real life and in-game. If you were to connect these two, you may aswell die alongside your character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is, when you impose certain actions conditions or situations on others they might not want to happen. For example if someones character tries to lob someone elses limb of and just says he does the other person does not have a say in if this action is happening or not. I think people with a superiority complex should't play rpgs and instead go to therapy.

*after the other person replies and tells him where the inn is Valeran would try to waltz off without saying anything except: "Thank you" in a polite but also very snob-ish way.
