    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I try to be as realistic as possible and I rephrase the action so it doesn't sound like some kind of god.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Because maybe you(out-of-character) knows an information that could give benefits to your character, that doesn't know the information. For example: My character is running from another player's character and I(out-of-character) know a secret passage that I could use, but my character doesn't, if I used that passage, it woud be unfair with the other player.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
