    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I normally play by myself, so I will keep it as realistic as possible. Though if someone was doing it to me I'd try to leave or avoid the situation, if not, I'd have to report it to mods.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It ruins immersion, as the fact that someone can easily figure out your location because it was said in VC, can possibly ruin the game for you. Imagine going into hiding, and someone somehow knows exactly where you are because they were just told.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Ah, well there isn't much to it, just a high elf trying to make his way in the world. At most, I'd just like a peaceful life, I was tired of the normal elf life, I mean, If I live so long, Might as well make the most out of it right? I honestly find it extremely boring to live so long and do nothing interesting. I come from the elven nation, Celia'nor. You've heard of it yes?  A beautiful place it is, although I find nature even more beautiful. My story is a short one, more will be added to it as my journey continues, I've got a long road ahead.

  • Your Physical Description needs a bit more detail!  If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye color, hair color, hair length, what they might wear, etc. are all good.
  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Ect.
  • Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks, or make sure to make out your actions however you see fit!
  1. example “Hello my name is -”
  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory & roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!
  1. example They moved to lift the cloth door to walk into the tent
  • When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person!
  1. example He sat down, She looked around the room, they looked at the old hag and smiled
