Korlovsky ( Korlov for short ) was born in a small simple village of fisherman. while this being said, Paladins would come by to collect tax and he was fascinated by their weapons and dreamt of being a mercenary from the age of 5. on his sixth birthday his father got him a small hunting knife with family engravings on it. He used this knife to carve his very own training sword from wood and would practice with his friends from the village. But... he never had time to learn their names due to the beginning of tributes when the dragon first arrived. This dragon was large and had a deep forest green color to it. The dragon was being fought off by the stronger fisherman in the village ( one being his father ), this proved little effort and in a fit of rage after a fishing spear plunged into the dragons side, burned the fisherman and half of the village, thus started the tributes. He was the 13th tribute. His mom tried to protect him as long as she could but eventually the villagers offered Korlovsky on the day after his sixteenth birthday. He was tied up on a cross and carried away by the dragon minutes later, he was thrown into a giant cage filled with either skeletons or end-trails. He just barely made the fall from the cage once the dragon left. He ran towards the cage about 2 hours later fearing the dragon would come back and scaled down the cliff and with no warning a giant plume of dragon fire enveloped half of his face, he tumbled to the ground screaming in agony but stumbled to his feet and escaped into the forest.

His head hurt from the long boat journey and was suddenly awakened by the loud voice of a bard. " ugh... this was the worst boat trip I've had in a while." Korlov mumbled. " Well you don't get first class for free." The bard chuckled. " C'mon let me show you around." the bard insisted. With that said Korlov got to his feet and began to follow, He soon realized that he wasn't the only person the bard would be leading and by the end of the tour Korlov was one of the only ones left in the small crowd. " Hey pal..." the bard whispered " If you need to get some coin I know a group of mercenaries around here." the bard seemed to change his tone when he said this but Korlov couldn't refuse and offer for his life-long dream.
