    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To avoid powergaming in roleplay, you should create characters with flaws and motives, and stay true to their personality when making decisions. Work with other players, respecting what they add to the story. You should always react naturally to events. You should use everything that happens as a way for character growth, and avoid gaining unfair advantages. Above all, remain positive and inclusive about every event as it unfolds.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay by allowing players to use out-of-character (OOC) knowledge to influence their in-character (IC) actions. This leads to unfair advantages over other characters/players. It breaks good interactions and character development which can affect the enjoyment and fairness of roleplay.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
