• You must include at least one valid server Lore Reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race, family or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in, the religion they follow or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the LotC Wiki.

• You are not forced to change this, but try and refrain from using cliches in your characters background (e.g. their village was raided by orc, orphaning them).
• I just want to make sure it is clear that your character must come from the world LotC is set in. Due to your character’s age, they would have been born in the map/continent of Atlas, but at the moment they would live in the continent Arcas, as Atlas was evacuated a little over a decade ago in game.
• Your character cannot possess anything magical, such as a glowing aura. Their description must also fit into the server lore for a standard dark elf. Feel free to check out the wiki page on dark elves!
• Please expand a little on your character’s Description so that it describes more of the physical attributes of your character. This could include their build/stature, eye colour, hair colour and any other distinguishing features.
• You must include at least one clear Flaw in your character’s interesting facts/traits. A flaw is generally something to do with a character’s personality/behaviour.

• While this is not at all necessary to change, I wanted to make sure that you’re aware your character’s age will mean that they will be considered something like a child or adolescent in most elven cultures. Generally speaking, elves aren’t considered adults until they reach at least 50 years of age.

what do you mean by flaw in characters interesting facts

A character flaw is just a weakness or negative trait - this should be something that will seriously impact your character and their behaviour. It doesn’t have to be a physical flaw, it could be something to do with their manner/personality.

• Please correct the Spelling & Grammar across your application before you submit any changes. Make sure to check your fullstops and capital letters!

• Your Powergaming and Metagaming definitions are a little too vague. Please add more to these to show you really understand the terms. You can refer to our wiki pages on metagaming and powergaming for the server’s accepted definitions though keep in mind that plagiarism is not tolerated.

• Your character’s Background isn’t detailed enough. Please extend this to at least two decent sized paragraphs. You could include more information on things such as your character’s place of birth, upbringing, family, profession and any other important events that have happened to them.

• Please specify which cities you are referencing in your character’s biography, it’s best to be as clear as possible.

• The year 889 was nearly a thousand years ago on the server. You’re unable to play a character that old, and you’ve also already specified that your character is only 41 years old. Please edit this.
