    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming puts one's character at a level where they know things that don't yet make sense for the roleplay, which is unfair to all who are not metagaming.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"You wish to hear how I got here? Well, if you must know, I travel often but haven't seen civilization in days. When I came across this area, I was low on rations and equipment and pondered if I could trade or buy anything for my travels. Say, you wouldn't happen to have anything worth some silver and an old shemagh, would you?

Character Race: Cave Dwarf
Character Gender: Prefer not to say.
Character Age: 4827
Physical Description: Covered in mulch. Its skin hasn't seen the light of day in many centuries. Just mulch.

Hi there! As you can see, your app is almost ready! Just a few changes you need to make, but don’t worry - you are doing great!

 

- Please make sure to include at least six sentences! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Ect.

- Your Physical Description needs a bit more detail!  If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye color, hair color, hair length, etc. are all good. 

- Please redo your powergaming question as it is for exactly what yourself would do to avoid committing powergaming not what to do when you come across it.

- Please remember to add dialogue of your character speaking! This is to ensure we know what you are doing! 

 

You’ll be given 48 hours to correct the changes above. Once you are done correcting, please contact me!
