Esbek was born to a well off family of traveling traders. On their travels they would experience the world and Esbek was influenced by many cultures. While traveling to Caroustadt they were attacked by a group of thugs intending to steal from our caravan. What they didn't intend was quickly being fought back by the people of the caravan. The bandits ended up being dispersed, only after leaving Esbek's father dead and mother unconscious. Other families in the caravan helped Esbek's mother to a place of healing where Esbek remained for 2 years helping the church tend to his paralyzed mother. Eventually one of the priestess who Esbek formed a bond with encouraged him to return to exploring the world and leave his mother behind. He ended up leaving but regrets leaving before seeing his mothers passing.
