You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
I cautiously sit down, inspecting my surroundings and paying close eye to her hands. As my rear meets the cushion, I exclaim, "What a place you have got here, the decor is... quite unique." I follow up her question with a swift answer, "I am Kelvin, a man far from here seeking riches. In the past I have been a small-time thief here and there, but now I plan on going full scale. There will be no walls that I can't scale, no people who I can't push through, and no kingdom too large for me to impenetrate. People are weak, and for the most part arrogant. The best way to get what you want is using those same fools around you as stepping stools. They won't mind anyways, most of them have their head so far up their rear that they don't even know they've been duped!"

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: You can avoid it by just sticking to the era and if someone else is Pgaming around you then you can simply avoid them or report them if they just keep going.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It gives an advantage to whoever is Metagaming and it simply is not in the roleplay, so it just won't fit and gives no good results and make it very unfun for everyone.
