Andrej D’Borek
Character Backstory/Character Setup:
Andrej is returning from a failed pioneering party from an undeveloped region of the Kingdom of Hanseti - Ruskia. Andrej being capable in martially and had studied sciences in his adolescence into young adulthood; was a cheap hire for this pioneer party due to his age and lack of experience but his education seemed promising. Due to disagreements, many of the families that comprised the pioneering party began infighting. Eventually the party began to fracture and disband. Some chose to continue to search for settleable land while others either chose to return home or travel to find already established settlements. Without any contract for work and having no strong ties to the families had chosen to return to Karosgrad in search of new opportunities.
Before those events Andrej was born into a family of Haensian descent and of a lesser merchant business located in a small trading town that was located on a common trading route. Due to Andrej’s father’s trade, he was able to afford to send Andrej to Karosgrad to receive his education in economics and mathematics. Though, Andrej favored mathematics of the two and took him down a route to study physics and engineering instead. During his few years in the city, Andrej adopted some of the local customs and grew to favor its lifestyle from his original home. Eventually, he would decide to remain in the capital to build his career there.
Andrej in his free time would hire local fencing masters for lessons to learn the art of the sword. Meeting one blade master from Petra who introduced him to the use of the saber-styled blade. He favored this type of blade for its cutting capacity and swiftness.
Educated, skilled in martial arts, and equipped with an eagerness to build a career, Andrej searches for adventurous opportunities.
You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Expecting me? So you spy on others old woman?" Andrej glances around and studies the environment of the tent, scanning for any items that may indicted to him more information of the old crone. He looks back to the old woman and offers a side smirk to indicate his sarcasm in his comment.
"If you have time, I will tell you my history.."
He takes of his saber from his belt and leaves it on the floor by him and he settles down onto the cushion before he begins to speak again.
"I am Andrej D'Borek, I have a failed past in pioneering. I've been educated in engineering and mathematics in Karosgrad and had been entangled in a pioneering party that crumbled due to internal conflicts. Now, I return seeking new opportunities."
Leaning forward, I lock eyes with the old hag, gauging her reaction as I continue my story..

He continues to tell his story into the night and waits to see what the hags would want of him.
