You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
*azaria walks closer taking a glance at the chair before carefully sitting down* "where do you know me from?... a- and can we talk over a meal maybe? im staaaarving" *azaria doesnt care about formailitys too much. her mother has ruined that for her being wayyyy too strict. she hasnt brought nearly enouch food for her trip so she is starving. she has no choice but to talk to the hag and hopefully get a meal out of this*

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: just use what your character would use. no need to make overpowered characters becouse that ruins the game for others. if only one person is powerfull it feels like you only have one main character and i find that extremely unfair to the other players. also i have not read too much into magic so im walking into this as a new player. this means i do not know what the most powerfull spells are and i will only use what my player will use
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: for example your inviseble and listening in on a conversation. if one of the players casts fireball on you even tho they shouldnt even know your there is really anoying. and some information shouldnt even be known to players like moster weaknesses. it creates very cool moments when they realize the moster is weak to something but if the player looks up a stat block it just ruins it.
