You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh hello...",She nervously sputters out, "I thought this was my tent. Lovely... things in here... Best be going..." *Best be going away before the hag cast a spell or curses me. Odd to see such a chaotic creature here alone*

Did not see the & Backstory. My bad

     Nadine was hunting in the Drakwald Forest, eyes darting around for prey and beasts. She wanted to be away from town and her mother. Nagging at her to do something other than search for father, like make clothes or find a husband. It's why they moved so far from the ocean. Her thoughts interrupted with the sound of a woman screaming followed by the howls and clopping of beastmen. Slowing creeping her way to the commotion. Peeping from the brush on the edge of a clearing, she spotted a lanky man in a odd looking engineers uniform holding onto a tree branch. Screaming that he's armed and wondering where his bodyguard was while the beastmen shot arrows and held up their weapons to impale him for when he fell. Nadine didn't want to leave the man to his fate but she also didn't want to suffer the same. She fumbled around in her bag for something to distract at least some of them. A whistle... maybe to could scare the beasts thinking a large patrol was coming. It would bide some time to run before beastmen came back in number. Cursing herself before a deep exhale into the whistle. The beastmen wincing at the sound, looked around before running off. Nadine cautiously entered the clearing. Waving the strange man down so they can leave quickly. The man edged himself down the tree, but before she can tell him to run, he loudly introduced himself, asked where he was, and where was his outhouse. She blinked at him. Stunned by the man, his outfit, his words. She never saw a outhouse. Time ran out as they heard the distant howls of the beastmen that are coming back. Still not getting a word in, the man grab her hand and drag her towards the outhouse that she didn't see till now. "No time to explain. We are getting in!" Shoving her into the awfully smelling thing wondering how, why, this is mad, we're going to die! But the outhouse was strange. She must be touched a shroom, or some sort of magic was at play here. It was not a place to relief oneself. It was a large room filled with pipes, levers and gadgets whistling out steam. Still no time to comprehend anything. The man begin pulling levers and pressing buttons. "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing!" She did not believe him nor a choice to leave, the beastmen were waiting outside. The room begin shaking and she wanted to throw up. Nadine sat down where she was, covering her mouth and shutting her eyes as tight as they can.

And so that is how she became lost and away from home. The strange man apparently calls himself The Professor. Just traveling from place to place in his.. outhouse. She adapted as best a she could in these strange places.  She's lost again in a new world with new things to be awed and terrorized by. Hopefully she can find her friend...
