Arvio lived a relatively quiet life with a decent family life (with one sister, a mother and a father) in Al-Damashq. His father worked as a jeweler out of the first story of their two story home, and was relatively successful in doing so, allowing the family to be relatively well off financially. The capital often saw many visitors, and because Arvio was usually confined to his house or the street it was on (besides his schooling of course, which was about twenty minutes away by wagon), he was often fascinated by the clothes, weaponry and specifically the jewelry that travelers wore. As he grew into adolescence, he became more and more interested in the outside world and the surrounds cities, towns and kingdoms. He spent countless hours studying the cultures of other races and sought out any information he could, using any means possible, going so far as to stop and ask complete strangers. Aside from that, his childhood had little significant memories, but was still filled with joyous play and the fair share of pubescent drama one could expect. Coming into early adulthood, his father took Arvio under his wing as a jeweler, and while Arvio took to it quickly, he found it to generally be unsatisfying, save for the few occasions a traveler would stop by to browse. As he became more skilled as a jeweler, he attempted recreate many of the pieces of jewelry that he saw outsiders wearing, becoming frustrated every time he realized he didn’t have the right material or gemstone. At the age of twenty-four, after working side by side with his father for a few years, Arvio announced that he was going to go travel the world. He had spoken about in for the past half-a-decade, and had planned it out in his mind and on paper over and over again. His family, while saddened at first, knew at heart that he was going to either way, and that he’d be happier doing what he desired. And so he set out on his journey, exploring Atlas and all of its great cities and humble towns for three years, meeting people and making friends. Now, Arvio’s journey takes him to Arcas, where he hopes to discover and learn even more about the vast lexicon of knowledge that the world holds.
