Son of William and Njor, Tyr was born in a small settlement located near Kal’Azgaryum. There, the humans of the settlement lived a more modest, rugged lifestyle, earning their keep and gathering or trading for whatevet they needed. The villagers were on fairly good terms with the mountain dwarves at Kal’Azgaryum. William himself had a deep respect for dwarves and their skills at the crafts, having originally been taught silversmithing by a Frostbeard dwarf. Tyr grew up with his father teaching him how to smith, but lacked the ability to etch details that was sought after for a silver smith. Time wore on and Tyr instead showed promise with general blacksmithing, having the power and eye for function that made his tools sturdy, his nails strong, and his edges sharp. As the years went by, the boy turned young man would speak more and more of leaving the village, and making his own way in life, no longer relying on others as much as he once did, though as he said that, his father mentioned there was still much he did not know about. Although they grew up with many other humans, the town itself; though believing in Canonism, was not the most devout of places. His father did his best to teach Tyr about Canonism, just so that, should he ever meet an inquistor he would not be branded as a heretic with even the slightest chance simply for not knowing, and maybe speaking out wrong about it. Though his father incessantly warned him, Tyr understood the lessons, but seemed to lack the belief that should come with all devout Canonists. Eventually, Tyr grew old enough to decide to set out on his own, not being able to bring himself to leave the cold region entirely, but wishing to make something of himself without relying on his father’s reputation. He now sets out to make his own name as a smith... though given his love for the drink, a tavern may just suit him as much as a forge. (Skin is a placeholder, likely to be changed in the future, will still keep in theme with Medieval)
