Suret’rem was born in Ker’Nor while the Dominion of Malin was still a thing. Like regular dark elves, she was trained in martial arts and weapons when she was young and took a liking to hand-to-hand combat. As a descendant of a blacksmith, she was urged to learn smithing and other related craftsmanship like sculpting, gemstone cutting, and fine polishing. As time goes on, she get more and more curious of how things were crafted or made but not limited to only weapons. While being an apprentice blacksmith, she learn about other things such as the reasons or mechanics behind things and how architecture works, gaining plenty of knowledge enough to build a dwelling of any accessible resources from the area, her first successful architecture was the statue of her father. As her curiosity grow further, she try to seek how arcane works and try to use it but to no avail, no one could help her with that and she couldn’t understand a thing from just self-learning, so she decided to gain as much as any knowledge possible.
While she focuses on unlocking the mysteries behind things, she also honing her martial arts as well. Being a daughter of a blacksmith and being an apprentice blacksmith herself, she has access of all weapons stored in the workshop (and with permissions of her father). Be it sword, axe, bow, or even a shovel, she could do well and could pass as a militant. However, her most reliable weapon is her own body. She believes that if she has nothing to craft, nothing to grab, and nothing to smith anymore, the only thing she could rely on is herself, so she took a training of hand-to-hand combat very intensely to the point of being sent to bed many times a week from breaking her own muscles, or sometimes, her bones.
During the rebellion of Haelun’or, her father died in a collateral fire when he was out acquiring materials to craft weapons and armors as demanded by the military of Ker’Nor like every blacksmiths residing there do. This event had forced Suret’rem to success her father position as the shop owner while she still considered herself inexperience. Therefore, she decided to temporarily close the shop and travel out to learn more, before she could proudly go back to her shop once again. Anyhow, while she was visiting a village, the news of the fall of the Dominion of Malin arrived. She was surprised and decided to go back there and found that Ker’Nor is no more, as well as her shop that is now vacant. Disheartened but never give up, she decided to go on her journey once more and decide her future later... Maybe, rebuild her shop in Vira’Ker, the new capital of Dark Elves, would be a good idea.
She’s out there somewhere in the wilds... or some village... no one knows, even herself (she got lost quite sometimes later).
