Minrick was a young lad with big ambitions. He had a rather pleasant upbringing in the capital of Renatus; Helena. His mother, a baker, and his father a Legionnaire of the great army. From the age of just 11, he would play fight with his father on most days, and by 16 he had grown significantly and was able to overpower his father from time to time. By aged 18 he had enrolled in the Renatian military, and was fighting alongside his father and fellow soldiers. He made a name for himself on the battlefield for his ruthlessness and sheer terror that he would instil in to his enemies. Two years, and many bloodied battles later, and Minrick was hailed a champion amongst his friends and fellow soldiers. However, he had not progressed in ranking, which angered him. Minrick’s tactical style was unique, and impressive to say the least - but the calls made by higher ranking officials were far from his agreement. For Minrick, this was very frustrating, and would cost the lives of many of his friends due to badly portrayed information. Just 5 months later, Minrick had decided to excuse himself from the military, to many - including his father this was a shock. Minrick did not stop his career in combat here, instead he ventured out of the city of Helena, to look for different styles of war and training, to better himself.
