Short: Bardumir is a Mountain Dwarf. He is very different from most mountain Dwarves, since he does not actively engage in combat. He does like to attend banquets, and is interested in gold and building.
Full: Bardumir was born into a wealthy family in Atlas and his prospects seemed good, he had enough money to afford combat training, and enough friends to make up a decent portion of any small warband. But Bardumir was not interested in combat, and his peers surpassed him quickly, which earned Bardumir the disdain of his own father. As his interests turned to music and literature, his family and friends slowly began to shun him one by one. People also began stealing from Bardumir, which eventually drove him to flee his home and become more of a nomad. The fact that Bardumir wasn’t a staunch follower of The Brathmordakin didn’t help him at all in the eyes of his fellow Dwarves. He does display the common Dwarven trait of lust for gold, and will try to barter for any gold he may lay eyes upon. He is a competent miner and will generally mine for hours upon end when alone, but when he is surrounded by people he likes to entertain them with his singing.
