Heyo Hiyo guyos! It’s me, IronPen, back at it again, with a few updates about my little project of refilling the CT Mines with mining equipment and the CT Farms with farming equipment (For more info, just check my previous posts since I rarely post anything else.) This will be in a list style on account of me having multiple things to tell you all, as well as a few small questions I have if that’s alright with you all. NUMBER ONE! If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve hidden 16 different signs, each with a unique message throughout the CT Mines. Each message will have the signs number, a little message, and my signature. If you find all of them, you get a special cookie! If one of them has been broken, that’s fine, you’ll still get a cookie if you ask :). Bear in mind they aren’t FAR in the mines I kept them relatively close to the entrance as it is DANGEROUS in those mines. So Many falls... NUMBER TWO! Check out the Mining PitStop when you have a chance! Not just for the free food and mining equipment, but for the reviews! It fills me with so much joy to see so many people have entered the PitStop and used it, without deciding to steal everything or break it down for spare parts. NUMBER THREE! ? NUMBER FOUR! I’d like to apologize for not refilling the chests last weekend. I had almost crushed my leg and as such I was in a little bit of shock and pain due to me still taking damage from the sheer pressure that was put on my leg. I decided to take a break, and I apologize for not refilling them. It shouldn’t happen again. NUMBER FIVE! I uh... I have a favor to ask. Y’see, I’ve been running out of materials to make the tools necessary to gather resources to refill the PitStop and CT Farming tools chests. I can do with stone tools, it’s just that it takes too much time and the task becomes menial and unrelenting, making it a chore rather than an activity. As such, I was wondering if anyone here knew a good place to buy diamonds or iron that isn’t too expensive. I have savings of around 1000 minas but I’m trying to save up to get a new skin change. And if you’re ever 1 iron extra or you find a spare diamond lying around that you don’t know what to do with, it would really help if you put it in the donations chest in the Mining PitStop. NUMBER SIX! If you haven’t seen already, a kind soul has placed signs indicating which chests are the hoe chest and bone meal chest in the CT Farm, they look really pretty so check them out if you’re bored! NUMBER SEVEN! If you can remember or look back far enough in the post history in OOC, I asked a question about something you’d like to RP, but you’re 99% sure it’d be rejected/doesn’t fit in with pre-set lore. After much consideration and idea stirring, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and flesh out the idea and submit it, even though it’s 99% likely to be rejected. I’d like to ask someone who’s more experienced with the lore/state of the world as is to please shoot me a DM if you’re interested in helping me create the application as I’m really clueless as to what I’m even doing. Plus I think it’d be fun to do it with someone else, bounce ideas back and forth and whatnot. (the idea itself can be found in the start of the post which can be found in my post history ;D) Boom! That’s the end of the update. Sorry for cramming all this stuff in but I’ve been waiting to say my piece for a bit now and figured it’d be best to do this all at once. The question is in the title; Have you ever wanted to RP something but you know that it’d be denied for being to Powerful, or too outlandish, or you just don’t really know how to get it approved? For example: Maybe you wanted to RP a special magic that you saw in a popular TV Show, but know that it’s too powerful and would be denied instantly if you tried to get it approved, or you’re too scared to try AND get it approved due to the massive implications it would have. If you have something like this or similar to this; post it down below! I’d love to hear what cool or strange magics or weapons you wish you could bring into the RP, but know you can’t. I’ll go ahead and start us off! One thing i’d love to RP would be the abilities of a time lord. A time lord is a fictional alien being from a British TV show called Doctor Who, in which the time lords look like regular humans, however they live much longer, are usually smarter, and they have the special ability to “Regenerate” in which whenever their body dies, they are able to regenerate into a new one, retaining their memories but their personality and overall body has completely changed. They can become fat, tall skinny, become a man, woman, child, the list goes on. They can regenerate for a total of 12 times, before finally dying for good, with the one weakness in regeneration being that if you are killed during said regeneration while your body is changing to that of a new one, you die for good. (If your curious as to how this looks, just look it up on youtube.) I’d love it if I would be able to play the same character over the course of 1000 years, but not have to be stuck with the same overall look for those 1000 years. It’d open up numerous RP experiences and opportunities, allowing someone to change the style of their character but not have to constantly set back their knowledge, or try to remember if this character met that or re-learn the basics. However; the reason why I think this would be denied almost instantly would be that it’s simply too Over Powered, having your character being able to cheat death might become annoying depending on how you play them, especially if they’re someone whom almost everyone wants to kill. It’d also mean that you’d be able to become a master of many different skills (But high elves can do that too I guess :/). I suppose one could nerf it to make it playable, such as limiting the amount of regeneration's, and the capabilities of said regeneration, but its implementation would be even harder to figure out. Anyways; that’s my tidbit, let me hear yours! ?

I forgot to mention that YES! I am using charcoal as I find it incredibly hard to get my hands on coal. My bad, I’ll add in that little detail ?

Hi ho there friends! It’s me again! IronPen, back with another little gift from me to you. After Mining for quite awhile for materials to help with refilling the CT Farms, a thought occurred to me: I could sure use a break. So; because of that, I decided to add a completely unnecessary addition to the CT Mines, my little Pit Stop, where you can relax after mining for hours and getting carpal tunnel. It has all the amenities a lonely miner could ever hope for, such as: - Beds! - A small supply of fresh torches! - A large box full of stone picks if you’re running low! - A small supply of foodies when you get low! - A fireplace! For you to sit AFK by or throw your stuff into! - A small set of stairs made to look like a bench, that you can sit on before you go AFK! - 8 Furnaces to heat up all the ores you’ve collected! (With some Charcoal already in the furnace!) Firstly: NO, This is not an RP thingy in the mining dimension (because that is illegal), I just made a place for people to go AFK in or recharge their batteries before diving back into the caves once more. Secondly: YES, I know this is completely unnecessary, but hey, I figured why not? If it’s something nice I can do then I’ll be sure to do it. I know that everything in the mining dimension is destructible, but if it at least makes one person happy, then It’s served its purpose and can be destroyed or greifed. But who knows? Maybe it might last just a little bit longer than expected. So: If you’re tired of mining or want to stock up, come down to the Pit Stop and relax, hurry, before it’s likely destroyed and broken up for parts! LOCATION: Just head straight down the stairs in the CT Mining entrance and you should see it. Enjoy! P.S If you feel like it, leave a sign up above the beds right next to mine saying you’ve visited the inn! Maybe even give a review of it! ? (Again: NOT MEANT FOR RP. Just for an aesthetic pleasure) UPDATE: Added in a cobblestone path lighted up by torches to make it easier to find, and make the mines less... dangerous. Watch your step! ;D

To answer what Crevel said about people taking it all at once (because I forgot to quote it ;p) I do know that yes, a lot of people will take all of the items in the chest, but that’s always going to be unavoidable in any minecraft server if you’re trying to give items out. But that’s OK! Because no matter how many times people will take the hoes and the bone meal, I’ll just come back the next day and refill it ;D and who knows! Maybe on some days I’ll refill the chest twice if I have the extra time! Thanks for pointing that out though Crevel! I forgot to add that into the post.

Hi diddily ho there! It’s me, AlaSol, AKA IronPen, and I’m just doing this post as a sort of PSA for people who don’t know/haven’t been on when I say it out loud in the #OOC chatroom. SO: I’ve started to place bone meal and stone hoes in the seed chests in the Cloud Temple Farm, as I constantly see people who either don’t have a hoe, or do have a hoe but have to run back and forth in order to harvest the wheat that they need, which is especially hard if they are already starving. Here are some basic directions as to which chests you can find the stone hoes and bone meal, as it may become a bit difficult if you simply don’t know which chests they’re in. STONE HOES: Are placed in the upper left corner chest. This chest is a single chest and should be pretty easy to find. Putting back the hoes when you are done with them is greatly appreciated so that way others can keep on farming once you’re done ;D (It also saves me resources and time since I won’t have to mine for cobblestone ;p). If you’re in an extra creative mood, feel free to re-arrange the leftover hoes in the chest to make it look pretty! BONE MEAL: Is placed in the double chest directly underneath the hoe chest. This chest should normally be filled to the brim with stacks of bone meal so feel free to farm to your hearts content. Depending on where you’re standing, the bone meal chest may be hard to spot, but just look for the chest underneath the hoe chest and you should be right as rain. Again; putting back leftover bone meal when you’re done is greatly appreciated so others can farm as well. REFILL TIMES: I’ll usually refill both chests every single time that I get on, which will be about once a day. The times may vary in when i place the hoes and bone meal, but it should occur within the 3 PM EST – 5 PM EST time frame. Some days the chests may not be refilled, but those should be few and far between. Please note that once I have refilled said chests I will say so in the #ooc chatroom. Thanks for reading! Hi hey hello! So I just came back after 2 weeks of being sick, (I’m still alittle sick) and I was coming back to my house only to realize that all of my books had been completely stolen off of the shelves. When I initially put them there it was on the day I was falling sick, and I didn’t end up locking them as I ended up just putting them there and deciding to log off and go to bed as I had a migraine, which ended up being, you guessed it, a fully fledged sickness. By the time I got back, all of my books had been stolen except for one. The entire front of my house (Save for the upstairs) is locked, and i’m POSITIVE that my door was locked. There was no sign/RP that had shown that my books were stolen, nor anything of a forced entry. Thankfully my chests were locked but honestly I’d rather have those and my bookshelf locked as It took me a long time to collect all those books. I can only guess that someone decided to break into my house and try and take my things, only ending up managing to get my books and nothing else as all my other things were locked. I did end up not being able to pay my taxes and did have a warning sign (No eviction sign) posted up, and I’m going to try and fix that issue later on. I’d like to know if this kind of thing is allowed, where you can steal someones items without having to RP it/place a sign that lets the owner know that their item has been stolen while they were away. Maybe this was just a misunderstanding and my books were taken for me not being able to pay my taxes (I live in Curon) Or maybe they did RP it and they just didn’t leave a sign. Either way, I’d like to know that if someone did end up entering my house and taking my books without actually RPing it, is that okay? Or is it not okay. Thanks, and sorry if this didn’t make sense, I am still kinda sick.
