Faeneis was born in The Silver City(Elcihi’thilln), to two artists. As her parents are both respected members of the community there have always been high expectations for Faeneis. Though as a child she devoted her time to meeting their expectations, she has recently started to question them. Among her questioning, she stumbled upon a Farlander man. Though it was forbidden she felt herself drawn to him. She has become caught between two paths,stay with her people and live the life her parents expect, or follow her Farlander onto a new life. Her worst nightmare comes true when her parents catch news of the Farlander and she decides her best option is to leave her past behind.

Faenish is a veyr young high elf still finding her place in the strict culture of her kind. She is questioning the path her family wants her to take, to be a school teacher. Although Faenish is very well-educated, she has has issues with controlling her emotions in the recent past. Unlike what is common of her people, she is prone to find herself in trouble. Under her families constant struggle to control her she is tempted to find a new lifestyle outside of her people. Although her young age is not usually the age to settle down, she has found herself smitten with another high elf, who is much better grounded than she. She is caught between wanting to find a new life and winning the love of her beau.
