Dim was born in a land far from Aegis, where he stayed until he was 4 years old, to which he was taken from his family during a pirate raid on his home city. He spend a lot of his early life as a pirate, where he learnt many skills (such as social engineering and how to be as charismatic as possible) that he used to eventually take over the pirate fleet and become the most feared pirate captain the sea had ever seen, at age 17. When he reached age 19, he got bored of the whole pirate ordeal, and abandoned the fleet, leaving on a small rowboat in the middle of the night, with most of the precious booty they had collected over the years he had been with the pirates.
He made his way to a small city on the coast where he enrolled in a business school for 3 years, where he gained a lot of knowledge of how things work in the industry. after leaving the school, he met an infamous con artist at a pub, by the name of Bill Ferguson, who seemed to take a liking to Dim, to which he appointed him as his apprentice and partner in crime. During his time with Bill, he obtained several qualifications, awards and titles in numerous different areas of work, both legitimate and illegitimate, such as, but not limited to:

(titles and qualifications list remains unsorted until someone does so)
Dim claims that one of his most notable titles, Time-lord, was earned when he and Bill managed to trade in a silver pocket watch for an authentic Jade Time Watch, which when winded backwards or forwards changed the user’s position in the universal timeline. They used this device to go all the way from the beginning to the end of time, where they did all sorts of stuff (I am willing to elaborate on this). He is no longer in possession of the watch though, as it was confiscated from him by the time police, and he was warned to never try time travel ever again, though he kept his title as time-lord.
He also claims that he earned the title Sky-Lord when he and Bill stole an airship from the Sky-Lords while they were drinking, but the ship was also confiscated by the time police, as it “shouldn’t have existed yet”.
In total, Dim and Bill spent close to 11 years conning people and running businesses, until they were ordered to be executed by the high court of the land, for apparently “discovering too many of the queen’s secrets”. A (very) large sum was put on their heads, and they were forced to separate, gathering all their earnings and splitting it between the two of them, before setting off in different directions.
Dim was 35 when he arrived in Aegis, which he had done so by travelling with an elven caravan that had intended to come to the realm. He had no idea what to do, so he started wandering, looking for business opportunities and places to settle down, when he ended up blackout drunk in a ditch by the side of a road after a night of drinking with “some kick-ass wizard that he met on the side of the road”. Dim doesn’t recall what happened after that, but he remembers being dropped off at the docks and waving a ship goodbye, presumably after his memory of the event had been wiped. He did some digging and found out that he had taken a 2 year trip to a foreign land called Atlas, where he was lost and he found himself wandering again, which brings us to the present day.
(Sorry if it’s a bit long)
