Ira was born into a small family of artisans in the city of Helena. The fall of the Empire of Man led to his father, a clock maker, becoming a fierce loyalist to the newfound Empire of Renatus. While the conflict between Renatus and the Holy Orenian Empire formed into a massive war, Ira grew to resent the violent culture of the nation his father now swore by, and devoted himself to a life of pacifism, to the great disapproval of his family. As time went on, the arguments with his father began to diminish their relationship, until one day where he was finally exiled from the family and told to never return, or his criticism of the Empire would be reported to the authorities. It has been many months since he has last seen his family. His clothes, once sophisticated, are now worn and dirty, and the isolation has left him with a nervous personality. Ira now wanders the world alone, in search of a land that will hear and embrace his peaceful ideals.
