As a pro-Human. I must admit the dark elf looks pretty good. I would like to see more heads in the future, for sure

I might make heads depending on suggestions, I do make the occasional mask that I might auction.

    Examples:

  2. I made these heads because I had the motivation to, not sure how the ‘shading’ or ‘style’ fares here, but here goes.

I’ll put some rules, based off on what other auctions I see so far!

    I. Auction will end on 1st August, Saturday at 7PM EST.

II. Initial Bids start at 700 Mina; bidding in increments of 100 Mina thereon after.

III. A new post is to be made if you’re bidding over someone.

IV. Duly note that I take the payment first, of which I expect a screenshot to be sent to me at bahmbahm#9801 on Discord. I will then send you the skin!

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A short summary of both Hou-Zi religions and which one your character follows, it can be one, both, or none (2-3 sentences).

    • Shenjiao – The Pantheon of the God-King
      • Shenjiao features three-tiered pantheon of worships. The highest tier to Hou-Shen, historically the immortal god-king of the Hou-zi people. This is followed by his three sons: Hou-Wang, Hou-Xiao and Hou-Da. Lastly, the ancestral spirits; the ethereal spirits of every Hou-zi who has ever lived and died. Worship is performed through burning of incense sticks (honoring the ancestral spirits), music through the sacred violin-like instrument erhu and prayers & offerings in the form of food and luxuries.
    • Hua-Jiao – The Path to Enlightenment
      • Hui-Jiao centers around the teachings of the prophet Hualian, a Fei-zhu nobleman who lived during the era of the first war with Malin. These teachings include the four truths, a set of actualities that define the nature of existence, and the eightfold path, a list of tenets to follow in order to realize the four truths and thereby achieve enlightenment. It is a doctrine that rose quickly in popularity among the lower-class Hou-zi of the empire some few centuries into its existence

I might be leaning towards Shenjiao. respects to hou-wang!

A short summary of Hou-zi history (3-4 sentences)

    • The Hou-Zi were an uplifted race. Once a species of monkeys like any other, they were a primitive animal incapable of fire, tools, architecture, or anything of the sort. Just like any regular primate. The Daemon Metzli was still experimenting with the creation of a mortal race which would serve her, and trying to figure out how to go about it. Finally, she resolved to first experiment by taking an already existing bestial race and granting it intelligence – the Hou-Zi. Approaching the ancestors of the Hou-Zi, she gave attention to the alpha of the group, granting it sentience. This alpha would soon be known as Hou-Shen, the Monkey King. Hou-Shen did as Metzli commanded, unlocking the gift of sentience on all the monkeys in the jungle of Asul with power granted to him by the Daemon themselves. Soon, the Hou-Zi race was fully born, and their history began from there.

A description of your Sub-race’s appearance and culture (2-3 sentences)

    • Laobai-Zhu
      • Laobai-Zi are the most common of the Hou-Zi subraces. They had fur usually in shades of brown and came in all shapes and sizes. Laobai-Zi are the more versatile and adaptable of the Hou-zi. The Laobai-Zu are said to be the line of Hou-Zi directly descended from the god-king's firstborn- Hou-Wang.
      • Laobai-Zi are more likely to be devout followers of Hua-Jiao than any other Hou-Zi tribe, and likely place the least importance on the worship of god-king Hou-Shen and his sons. This is because many Laobai-Zi grew resentful of the ruling elite as the class divide in the old empire widened, and moreso when their favoured prophet Hualian was exiled. Nevertheless, this is not the rule for all Laobai-Zi, and many still remain true to the God-King and his pantheon.
    • Fei-Zhu
      • Fei-Zi resemble baboons, being by far the most colourful of the Hou-Zi species and said to descend from Hou-Shen's second son, Hou-Da. Fei-Zi are known for their multicoloured fur which can be blue, red, hues of yellow, or gold. Their faces are usually a contrast to their fur, a red-furred Fei-Zi would have a yellow face, for example. Fei-Zi are the smallest but most nimble of the Hou-Zi, being lithe in body, and around 5’ to 6’ feet in height.
      • Fei-Zhu are most likely to value fine arts and craftsmanship over hard labour. The obvious professions are calligraphy, painting, music, poetry, and so forth. Yet, anything which requires skill and mind is consider a worthy pursuit to a Fei-Zhu. Some of the best Hou-Zi blacksmiths are Fei-Zhu, who created fine ornate weapons gilded with jade. Fei-Zhu create much of the famously beautiful Hou-Zi pottery and glassworks.

Fei-Zhu are most devout to Hou-Shen and the path of Shenjiao. They do respect (and many actively follow) the path of Huajiao, and even the prophet Hualian himself was a Fei-Zhu, but it is not as common or widespread as it is among the Laobai.

    • Hei-Zhu

      • The Hei-Zi (black ones) most closely remember silverback gorillas, and are considered to have originated through the seed of Hou-Xiao, third son of Hou-Shen. Members of the Hei-Zi are most always black of fur and the burliest, strongest of the Hou-Zi subraces. They range from 6’5 to 7’ feet tall.

      • The Hei-Zhu are most reverent to the great son Hou-Da, who they believe rules in heaven alongside his father the God-King. Each subrace has a heavenly patriarch in the form of one of Hou-Shen’s sons, but the Hei-Zhu worship theirs the most fervently.

Hei-Zhu are historically led by a Tóumù, a chieftain. Their society heavily emphasizes constant improvement of one’s physical and mental fortitude. Soft professions like the fine arts of the Fei-Zhu are considered unworthy to them, and instead they focus on hard labour, heavy lifting. Their rite of adulthood involves surviving a month alone in the wilderness. Apart from the obvious emphasis on warriorship and soldiery, Hei-Zhu are often seen as lumberjacks, beast-tamers and bodyguards.
