Saridel has an adventurous spirit. She has a hard time standing still and she longs for excitement in her life. Saridel is extremely curious, which means she might find herself in places she shouldn’t be in, or hear conversations that don’t belong for her to hear. However, Saridel does not mean any harm. Yes, she is nosy, but it isn’t for her selfish actions. Actually, it’s the other way around. Saridel always wants to help other people, even if they aren’t in a need for it.
Saridel can be called somewhat childish. Sometimes she speaks before thinking and this way can accidentally be disrespectful towards others. She is often stubborn, too. After all she wants to play it fair. Saridel always tries to be kind and friendly, but don’t make her angry though. She’s not backing down if someone is threatening something she values.
Saridel used to live in a seed with her family, and their close friends. Their treehouses were located near the city of Caras Eldar. Saridel, with her closest friend, her twin sister, Aleana used to visit there quite often. Saridel and Aleana were like two small glimpses of sunshine, spreading positivism and joy around that part of the forests.
But at the age of 17, a mysterious sickness fell upon Aleana. Her family did everything to help her but no medicine or magic was able to truly cure her. Still, Saridel didn’t give up. She went on a quest, determined to find a way to cure her sister. Unfortunately, just when Saridel was about to return, Aleana had passed away.
After that Saridel stayed near her home. She retreated from her close ones and she stopped making her usual visits to Caras Eldar. She did still perform her daily tasks, but her usual uplifting energy had disappeared. For a year, she mourned her sister. And the next five years she felt empty, like a shell that once had something bright in it.
Then, one day, something happened. Saridel was seen smiling again. She went to her mother asking “Mother, where is Aleana’s cloak kept? The red one?”. After that day Saridel started visiting her friends and having fun again. Was becoming that adventurous elf she once was.
Nobody really knows, what made Saridel’s spirit lift up again. Maybe she just decided it was time to move on, or she found something new and interesting to do. Some people say she probably just got bored being the way she was. Anyway, doesn’t matter what the reason is, Saridel is now willing to go towards new adventures.
