Totem was born in a small fishing village and grew up with his father and two brothers. Throughout the ages Totem’s family members have been successful fishermen and women. Though this all ended when the nation of Krugmar exchanged the City of Kramoroe for the Whispering Isles. Totems ancestors were killed from the effects of this trade through the increased amounts of Bandit activity in the land. News of these events were carried down to Totem through stories from his father and late grandfather. These stories had given Totem a very bad impression of the orc races. Throughout his life he would never speak to the orcs as they frightened him greatly. When Totem became older he moved away with his brothers to make strides in the fishing business but came up short. They found no luck making it in any of the major cities. Then One day while fishing and canoeing down a river with his brothers, Totems canoe hit a sharp rock pointing out of the water and splitting the boat in two. Totem was quickly separated from his brothers and failed to find a grip on any of the mossy stones that lied on the nearby bank. Totem was thrown down river and presumed dead by his brothers.
