Grew up a peasant on the outskirts of Curon. His father was a stonemason, and since the age of 9 he was training in follow in his fathers footsteps. This was not to be, as his family was murdered by an Orc raid on the eve of his eleventh birthday, whilst he was gathering kindling to brave the cold night. By the grace of the Noblemen of Curon, he was taken in as a squire. However, on a scouting mission of a nearby camp, he became fascinated by the secretive society of the Rangers. After being denied a transfer, Sigurt was imprisoned for attemping to escape Curon. The Rangers got word of this imprisonment, and midnight of the next day snuck in and broke him out. Since then, he has trained as a ranger, learning their crafts and skill as bowmen, even acquring the ability to vanish without a trace, and sneak from tree to tree patrolling the outskirts of their mobile camps.
At the age of 20 he gained a senior rank in the Order.
