James Jenkins a heartlander in Ves, was originally the third son of a small merchant family. James was always terrible at selling wares and was always either quiet and reserved or outgoing and energetic. Living without too much nor too little, he lived a relaxed life, pursuing his passion of (minecraft) engineering, which he loved, while other family members took care of the business. He also had a small interest in runesmithing, but always knew the power of runes belonged to the dwarves. James always had as much knowledge of arcane magic available for someone of his social class. The family business boomed during the Ratman Scourge of 1724, transporting various necessities to soldiers, in order for the business to stay afloat due to a decline of sales in their older product. After the war ended, the business crashed and its assets were split between family members. Afterwards, James began wandering throughout the area, doing various odd jobs to prolong his minuscule fortune. James managed to travel to Helena after taking yet another odd job on the boat in hopes to find an opportunity to earn money after slowly burning through his remaining money from his family’s business. James tries to make his social status seem slightly higher by wearing clothes that imply he isn’t as poor as peasants, but not as rich as nobles. His weakness is that he has the inability to create art or music (turning anyone listening to his music into disliking him). His voice is also very flat (and terrible) while singing. This also leads to a below average sounding speaking voice. But he always liked singing.
