Alison’s family, coming from the Island of Ceru where the origin of the Dark Elves came, were some of the many that came from the Grand Exodus and were greeted by the inhabitants of Laurelin and soon, her family along with another group went to live in some caves by the forest dwellings of the Wood Elves, wishing to incorporate themselves within other Elven societies after being away so long, this is when Alison was born, and with her families close friendship with the wood elves, was even greeted by some upon her birth. After all, due to their curse, a birth was practically a blessing. She was raised in the caves as well as the forest, getting to know how to traverse and live in both equally, from both her Dark Elven family, and Wood Elven friends. She would learn how to use both a sword and a bow well, her father teaching her the sword, and a Elder of the Wood Elves teaching her how to use a bow, she showed great skill in both, and learned them to an expert level of understanding within thirty years of her life, and could only further improve, challenging herself with firing multiple arrows at once, and learning to be ambidextrous to wield a blade in each hand. She also learned to survive off the land, and also of the lands around them. This seemed to spark an interest to explore in her mind, she would often take walks far outside of where she should have gone, being found by Wood Elf hunters soon after, but each time she got a bit further. Her parents had little effect of driving this interest out of her, and accepted that she would explore, and thinking of the best, told her of all the other Elven people, one’s she had yet to see which were the High and Snow Elves, and included the other tribes of her kin. After receiving more study and practice in survival and how the lands would go, she set out on her travels at about 150 years of age. She was given armor made of minerals mined by the Dark Elves, and Bones and Leather of the Animals the Wood Elves had hunted, and plenty of arrows and a strong bow, along with two ornate daggers.
