Survivors of a long and tremendous journey to Arcas, Rima’s parents had weathered many troubles and grew weary well before their years, passing peacefully together in the year 1715. Having suffered the physical loss of his parents early on grieves Rima greatly, but what he truly lost was his family history, his namesake, the tradition and clan each and every dwarf holds dear. As an orphan, Rima grew introvertedly, being casteless was like being cursed. He never fit in with the other dwedki his age and was often the subject of ridicule by his fellow kin. Rima took instead to learning what dwarven histories were available to him, scouring family bloodlines and at times, praying to Dungrimm at seemingly random gravemarkers for any shred of guidance or a sign. He has survived modestly, tinkering and fixing projects for elders in exchange for food or knowledge. Ongoing Story Living with his fellow cavekin and even his mountain cousins has been exceptionally hard. Rima has learned to defend himself thanks to the harsh ways of the rather large city streets. He continues to patiently remain humble, rarely striking out in offense but quick to do what he must to defend. His ultimate goal is to scour the lore and bloodlines of the great clans hoping to find some trace mention of his blood within the hollow annuals.
