Disclaimer: This is my first time doing something like this, always liked LOTR, so that's why I'm putting the effort in to this. Erid grew up in the Under-Realm of Urguan. He was an athletic young lad, always helping his father, Oreld, with logging, mining, hunting, all of the sort. He grew very close to him because of it, he would spend most days out with his father, leaving his mother to take care of the house and do what most mothers did. It wasn’t until he was 19 years old when he moved out of the house, he waved goodbye and was off to start the next chapter of his life. He made his living mining, like the rest of the men there did. One night when he was in the mine, he was just going out, when the mine collapsed, Erid, being just out of the mine, was one of the first ones to help, trying desperately to pick up the rubble to save the trapped miners. He saved a few, but couldn't save them all. He watched helplessly as some of the miners died from suffocation, or being crushed. After the incident, Erid and a few of the towns folk were cleaning up the rubble, as they needed to to keep doing their jobs. When he was picking up some rubble, there was a poor soul who had his legs trapped under a boulder, and died there. Under closer inspection Erid saw who the poor soul was. It was his father. He had not known his father had even been in the mines that night, let alone seen the collapse. Erid fell to his knees, sobbing at the lost of the one he loved the most. The following years he became anti-social, and preferred to live out In the mountains, by himself. This is where he is now.
