Born as the youngest child into a poor household in the city of Aegrothond, Duke was usually tossed aside by his father and mother for the more liked eldest brother Zen. Following the death of his mother, Duke instead of going into despair, decided to live his life as a positive person even when the times are tough. While the child of a charismatic drifter Duke is very clumsy and has trouble speaking to strangers. After meeting his Half Brother Sven, he instantly became attached to the Half Elf brother and tries to teach him everything about the world. After learning his two brothers began to join the life of crime Duke reluctantly decided to help them so he would be there if they ever got hurt, this officially labeled them to the town guards as the Dokar Brothers, the city's local gang. The Guards of the city don't usually go after Duke do to his almost pacifist nature, but because he is affiliated with the Dokar Brothers his bounty only calls for him being imprisoned for public exposure. After the exile by the city because of Zen killing a barkeep he travels with his two brothers in search of wealth to call their own.
