Korudo was born in Adria in a middle-class family that loved to travel. He learned how to hunt through his grandfather who taught him an unconventional way. This would prove useful. When he turned 13, his family joined a caravan to Haense, and he got caught in a bandit attack which would test him in his fighting abilities. He was able to kill some, but the caravan caught fire and Korudo wasn't able to get to his family. He was now stuck in the wilderness continuing to learn how to hunt and fight, alone.
