(As a note to who will be reviewing this, this character is based off of an existing DnD character of mine, so the personality and backstory of this character are already made and can be modified. Also, I don’t have any knowledge on the lore of the world and that places within it, so there’s a good amount of information that I can’t put down for the fear of contradictions. If you could show me where I can learn more about the world, and the people that live in it, I would greatly appreciate it.) Orion was born within a small village in the continent of Atlas on the outskirts of Nordengrad, and was raised by his mother Coryla, his father Jagis, and his older sister Atha. Orion was named so, due to a birth mark on his back that roughly creates the shape of the constellation, Orion’s belt. Around the age of 12 Orion’s home village was pillaged by the war mongering nation of Krugmar, with the intent of leaving no one alive. A few people, Including Orion’s sister, were able to escape from the village, everyone else was slain. However, Orion was not killed in the attack, for the general that lead the attack saw potential within the child. Year later, Orion is trained under the watchful eye of the general within the nation’s capital, San’Kala. Here, Orion was taught to kill, and to do so efficiently (although Orion’s personality might conflict with this, It’s not entirely by his choice, since what brings out this deadly nature is a mental trigger, maybe a sharp pain or the feeling of fire). Orion would go on to be the general’s right hand, taking down village after village in the name of Krugmar. That was until one day, Orion was tasked on finding and slaying a runaway group of people. Yet upon finding them, he recognized one of the runaways, he recognized his sister. When Orion returned, he lied to the general, signaling that he had not found anyone. However, the general figured out the lie, and would go on to punish Orion with a reminder of his betrayal, the scorching and charring of half his face. Orion was barely able to escape that day, fleeing to Arcas to then wander from town to town. Now, wearing a porcelain mask and a new cloak, Orion looks for adventuring work, in hopes that he can move on from his past, and create a new future for himself.
